Soil Conservation Programs
Grassed Waterway Program (PDF)
The objective of this program is to contour and seed natural runs with forages in order to stabilize actively eroding runs and to reduce erosion in areas adjacent to the runs. The runway area may also provide an economic product (forages) while promoting soil conservation.
Road Allowance Seeding Program
The TMCD and it's partner municipalities cooperate to seed road allowances.
Salinity Seed Program
We now carry Ducks Unlimited seed blend. This program is offered by TMCD and Ducks Unlimited Canada, at no cost to landowners. We provide salinity seed for landowners with concerns with saline soils. Application forms will be available in the new year, contact our office for further details.
